Taking A1 in German is essential as it lays the foundational language skills needed for basic communication and further language learning.

When I started as a student at Der Brückenbauer (DB), I had already completed A1–B2 online classes at Goethe-Institut (GI) Manila. However, I still lacked confidence and felt unprepared for the exam. With a deadline approaching, I enrolled in Der Brückenbauer’s B2 course, which follows the TELC framework.
In just two months, DB gave me the structure, strategy, and confidence I needed. The intensive exam simulations, clear feedback, and practical preparation techniques made all the difference. When I finally took the Goethe B2 exam, I passed on my first attempt.
What sets DB apart is the quality of instruction. The teaching is delivered by credible, fully qualified instructors with direct exam experience. Every session is focused, structured, and efficient. Materials are provided, participation is encouraged, and exam strategies are clearly explained.
Indeed you can learn German anywhere and even on your own. But it is worth it to invest at a credible language school like Der Brückenbauer, who will also invest in you and your success. They will treat you not just as another customer for income, but rather as a person who has dreams and aspirations that they want to help make come true.

I would like to do an Ausbildung in Germany, so I decided to learn the language. I was looking for language schools that offer online classes and found Der Brückenbauer. I was convinced to join the school after receiving advice from one of the teachers.
I only had an A1 certificate and no A2 certificate, just a little knowledge, but I was able to complete my B1 course with them and eventually obtained my B1 certificate.
I enjoyed my learning journey with them, as the teachers are very professional, fun, and approachable. I believe they have effective teaching styles and methods that help students follow, understand, and improve their critical thinking skills in learning.
With them, you will feel comfortable speaking German, whether you’re good or not. Receiving corrections was never awkward. Moreover, I learned more grammar rules and was able to apply them by sharing my opinion in written and oral exams.
Learning a new language is uncomfortable, so find a place where you can enjoy and have fun in between — and that is definitely Der Brückenbauer. 🙂

I started my B1 German course with Der Brückenbauer because I needed clear guidance, and that’s exactly what I got. I was struggling with the language and felt very insecure, especially when it came to speaking and preparing for exams. German felt overwhelming at that time, and I wasn’t sure if I would really make progress.
From the beginning, the teachers were patient, understanding, and very supportive, which helped me feel more comfortable and motivated. Things that were confusing before finally started to make sense. Step by step, I noticed improvement, especially in my confidence when speaking German.
What really made Der Brückenbauer special for me was the support beyond the language course. After B1, they continued to guide me through the Ausbildung process. They helped me understand applications, documents, and requirements that were completely new and confusing for me. Having someone explain everything clearly made a huge difference and reduced a lot of stress.
Through Der Brückenbauer, I didn’t just learn German but also gained direction. I always felt supported and never alone in the process. I am grateful for the time, patience, and care Ms. Anna invested in me. Now I’m in my 10th month of Ausbildung and I’m very proud to be one of the Der Brückenbauer babies ☺️
I can honestly recommend Der Brückenbauer to anyone who wants to learn German and needs real support while building a future in Germany. Special thanks to Ms. Anna for all the support. She’s top-tier and the real MVP! 🥰☺️

At first, I was not confident speaking because I didn’t have much practice. But step by step, I improved a lot and learned many things from the B1 course up to the exam preparation.
During the B1 course, we practiced model tests with the same format and structure as the real exam, which helped me a lot in my preparation. I also passed the exam on my first try, and I’m very thankful for the support I received.
Ms. Anna is a very kind and supportive teacher. She always finds ways to make the class lively, interesting, and easy to understand. She also provides helpful learning materials to broaden our vocabulary and improve our sentence structure. Because of her, I became more confident in speaking German.
I really recommend this language school to anyone who wants to learn German in a positive, friendly, and supportive environment. If you are thinking about enrolling, I truly encourage you to try.

I completed B1 and B2 with Der Brückenbauer, and it enabled me to pass my B2 exam on my first attempt. Although the course was based on TELC, Sir Kim went out of his way to ensure that I received reviews aligned with Goethe. (The only language institution available in the country where I resided was Goethe, hence the compromise.)
Getting through B1 had its hurdles because that’s when learning the language became more difficult. Miss Anna, most especially, showed us how much she cared about our progress and our possible future in Germany, and the effort we needed to put in to truly succeed on the path we had chosen. Little by little, we showed more progress together as a class, and I became more comfortable speaking German and applying my knowledge through constant practice. It was also a very open community, which made it easier to have fun while learning.
Now that I’m in Germany, I still recall specific things that I was taught in class (e.g., grammar and some colloquial language), which shows the effectiveness of their teaching method. To those considering enrolling at Der Brückenbauer, rest assured that the classes cater to what’s best for the students and that this institution truly has your best interests at heart ◡̈

I decided to learn German because I’m building my career in Germany and wanted to feel more confident in daily life and at work. I enrolled from B1 to B2 level and successfully passed my B1 exam. Now, I’m doing my Ausbildung, and the course really helped me prepare for it.
When I started, I was still shy and depended a lot on translators. I really appreciated that you didn’t allow us to use translators during speaking practice. It was challenging at first, but it helped me think directly in German and become more confident.
The learning environment was supportive, and I felt comfortable making mistakes. I noticed a big improvement in my fluency and confidence. I also like how your Facebook page features many students who passed their exams. It’s very inspiring and shows real results.
I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who truly wants to improve their German and speaking skills. The course structure suited me very well, and the teachers provided valuable guidance on grammar, pronunciation, and communication. The lessons covered essential topics for real-life situations, such as introducing myself, having basic conversations, and navigating daily life here in Germany.
I highly recommend Der Brückenbauer. Thanks to their support, I gained confidence in speaking German, passed my examinations, and came to Germany to continue my studies. I am now at B2 level, working, and preparing for an Ausbildung.
To future students, I would say: have fun while learning, be patient, and use multiple resources. Study regularly, expand your vocabulary, and speak without fear, because the teachers at Der Brückenbauer are always there to guide and correct you. Their support makes it much easier to learn from your mistakes and improve quickly.

I started my language journey at Der Brückenbauer as a complete beginner, with no prior knowledge of German. The school guided me through my learning process until I reached A2 level, and I successfully obtained my Goethe-Zertifikat A2, which allowed me to continue studying here in Germany.
My experience at Der Brückenbauer was both enjoyable and effective. The teachers were supportive, encouraged us to speak and expand our vocabulary, and corrected mistakes in a constructive way. Practical activities and group exercises strengthened my skills and helped me gain a better understanding of German culture and everyday life.
